Professional Learning That Invites You to Think Differently

Sometimes we don't need more techniques.

We need more time to notice, reflect and understand.

Strengthening Creative Practice is a Wayfinding® professional learning series exploring creativity as another way of deepening therapeutic understanding.

Through experiential learning, creative exploration and reflective conversation, we'll consider how creativity can enrich therapeutic relationships, strengthen reflective practice and support thoughtful professional judgement.

Wayfinding®

Wayfinding® is developed and facilitated by Dr Elaine Hutchinson.

Elaine is a therapist, supervisor, educator and researcher whose work invites professionals to slow down, notice more deeply and explore creativity as another way of understanding.

The Wayfinding® approach is informed by clinical practice, supervision, teaching and ongoing research, bringing these together to support thoughtful, relationship-based professional learning.

Each learning session can be attended individually while also contributing to the wider Wayfinding® learning journey.

Each session includes:

No artistic experience is needed.

The focus is always on therapeutic thinking rather than artistic skill.

Learning for Organisations

Strengthening Creative Practice can also be adapted for organisations, incorporating additional creative media and examples relevant to individual teams, services and professional contexts.

If you're interested in commissioning training for your organisation, I'd be delighted to discuss how the programme could be tailored to meet your team's learning needs.
